I am a certified foster parent for approximately 20 years and a mentor to many young people in my community through my job as a New York State Police Investigator and my career with the State Police.

I have a strong passion for the outdoors and was born into a home that was very involved in outdoor activities consisting of camping, fishing, shooting sports, archery and hunting.

When I was younger my family would tent camp and when I became an adult I continued my love for camping.

I am versed in many parts of camping and outdoor survival.

Since I was around 4 years old I have been fishing both in salt and fresh water. I have a strong passion for fishing and am very versed in all aspects of fishing to include rod and reel selections, line selection for different applications and species, lure selections for different applications and species, baits for different species and how to present same for success and also have been involved in fly fishing both in salt and fresh water for many species.

I have a strong passion for targeting striped bass and large/small mouthed bass fishing both with conventional tackle and a fly rod.

I also like trout fishing as well with a rod/reel and on the fly.

I grew up in a home that had many firearms and have been mentored in the safe handling of firearms. As a young person I was involved in archery and bow hunting. As an adult I still passion for archery and have a strong knowledge of archery and bowhunting.

When I was 14 years old I completed my New York hunter safety coarse, both for firearms, and archery. I have hunted with a firearm, muzzleloader and bow since that time. I have held a New York State hunting license every year since then.

I am an avid hunter for deer, turkey, small game, and water fowl. I have a versed knowledge of firearms, bullet and shot shell selection for many different calibers, gauges of firearms and what works best for each species and application.

While growing up I was involved in reloading for firearms for both rifles and shotguns.

I also construct and fletch my own arrows and have harvested many deer with my own arrows.

As a young person I worked as a customer service representative as a clerk in a sandwich shop and also at two Home Depot locations.

My jobs at the sandwich shop entailed assisting customers by taking orders and preparing their food. I also was in a management position and was responsible for taking catering orders and closing the shop. I was responsible for managing other associates and closing the cash registers each night at closing.

My job at Home Depot consisted of being a customer service sales associate, both in the floor and wall department and the plumbing departments.
