Under the direction and supervision of the District’s Director of Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services or designee, provides crisis mitigation services and social-emotional-behavioral interventions consistent with student IEP goals and program curriculum to assigned sites and students. Works in collaboration with other staff to develop measurable goals, apply knowledge of psychological and social work theories, and create a positive learning experience for secondary grade levels.

Working one-on-one with clients to coach them on how to best implement the tools of ACT. Simultaneously collaborating with client’s therapist to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Assisted in coordinating and facilitating wellness programs and workshops for students on topics such as stress management, nutrition, mindfulness, and healthy relationships. Provided support and guidance to students seeking information and resources related to physical and mental health, including referrals to external agencies or services as needed. Collaborated with school counselors, nurses, and other staff to develop and implement initiatives to address specific mental health needs or concerns within the student population.

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of Exposure Response Prevention therapy to clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This role involves providing direct coaching to clients undergoing ERP treatment, as well as serving as the lead coach responsible for scheduling client sessions and coordinating daily activities for the coaching team. Additionally, provided training to new ERP coaches, ensuring adherence to best practices and promoting a high standard of care within the clinic.
