Since attending VOLTA in 2014 i have completed a NW construction apprenticeship with a few different local contractors including Potelco, Keyline Construction, and DJs construction to name a few.

Upon completion of my apprenticeship i spent the next 3 years chasing a large variety of work all over the united states. I spent 6 months every year locally in the NW performing hot sticking maintenance while spending the winters on transmission rebuilds ranging from energized 69kv single pole wood structures, to H structure wood and steel rebuilds, to HEC(human external cargo) lattice & wire work as well as Natural disaster restoration nationwide.

In 2023 i hired on at pacific power in Portland Oregon and spent 14 months learning to trouble shoot utilizing various instruments like pin pointers, beasts, service savers, locators, 3 way communication with dispatch, taking every opportunity to be the after hours first responder/troubleman for the entire Portland jurisdiction all while still doing a wide variety of day to day maintenance and accumulating 1300 hours of overtime.
