Kyle Medeiros

During my time at ParksBarksBBQ, I’ve had a number of duties. First and foremost, I work as a line cook during our non-catering events. I am in charge of prepping, cutting, and serving our three meats as well as working the fryer. I maintain our high standard of cleanliness and organization during all hours of our operation. I’ve collaborated with my head chefs to design different menu items. With our menu, we produce high volumes of food per event while maintaining a near-perfect customer satisfaction score. Even during our service, I maintain well-stocked stations and prepare ingredients ahead of time for efficiency purposes. For our catering events, I am our catering crew lead. I am able to lead our crew and showcase our culinary expertise and dedication to the customer's satisfaction. I am in charge of setting up our catering events as well as cooking and cleaning up the events. My work extends even after our service hours. After hours, I work as a dishwasher and cleaner for not only the food trailer but our home base. Through collaboration, I’ve developed strong teamwork skills to always maintain smooth workflows during busy shifts.

During my time working with Hanna, I was an assistant to her and her operations. Firstly, I collaborated with parents to discuss child progress. I supervised all daily activities ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. I was able to implement behavioral management strategies to promote positive interactions among the children. I organized educational activities that stimulated creativity and learning in the children. I maintained clean, neat, and hazard-free areas to protect kids and families as well as sanitizing dishes, tabletops, toys, and frequently touched surfaces to prevent spreading of germs. I taught other children to organize toys, wash their hands, and share by leading by example.
