Tasked with delivering App Store transaction projects impacting more than 2B customer devices and implementing new tools, processes and improved standards and documents within the Apple Finance PLC

• Acted as one of two Finance project managers directing the rebuild of Apple tax calculation software within the App Store payment flow. The new system has improved speed, accuracy and reliability and touches all purchases made through the Apple App Store.
• Served as sole project manager for a new software implementation allowing customers to qualify for and make tax-exempt purchases through App Store.
• Collaborated across Engineering, Operations, and multiple third-party development teams. All tax-exempt App Store purchases utilize new software.
• Worked within the Finance PMO to iterate a second version of a key project planning tool. Potential Finance projects are proposed, scoped, and approved through the tool by Managers and Directors
• Acted as a Finance PMO project manager, with emphasis on enhancing and standardizing existing tools and creating or updating Apple project management templates and processes.
• Performed release management to ensure that aggregated monthly and yearly vendor releases for Apple’s App Store tax calculation system were ready for customer use.
• Managed internal sprints for an Apple tax system and reporting enhancement queue, releasing over 70 enhancements across 3 years.

Project Manager focused on regulatory and compliance reporting projects and internal release management. Efforts enabled worldwide governments to account for hundreds of billions of dollars of swaps values and tax witholdings and internal system upgrades for Operations teams.

• Managed the requirements gathering, integration, testing, and transfer of new-build enterprise regulatory tax reporting software. Coordinated with internal cross-divisional working groups and external partner-level consultants spanning four firms and eight locations. Software is now used within the banking industry across multiple firms/companies
• Led the implementation and build of regulatory swap valuation reporting for 3 new reporting jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory compliance in the target countries and accurate market values for portfolios.
• Performed operational release management to ensure that monthly releases for a margining system used by over 600 employees met functional and quality standards.
• Assisted in solution design and buildout of automated confirmations for swaps for a top 5 client which reduced operational risk, freed up headcount, and secured a greater proportion of client market share.
