At this location where I spent a great deal of years operating forklifts I also wore many hats
As a receiver I was responsible for checking in product as it was brought in by transfer trucks using theirs and our paperwork to check product and receive it into the system noting any details as needed
I also spent some time transferring product from location to location by use of our own truck
Although I did not drive it I was responsible for checking the product that needed to be loaded and pulling it also communicating with the supervisor at our sister location to make sure he was getting the product he needed and that it would fit on our truck
As a sales associate I spent some time behind a desk keying in orders for our production team to build as needed through communication to our customer they would email a list of what they needed and I would communicate their price and upon approval I would create an order out of the spreadsheet I sent over to the customer
Upon completion and delivery I would then account transactions and pickups as needed until the customer was satisfied
Afterwards I would send my paperwork up to accounts payable.
