• I am currently a production technician at Eaton, I assemble electrical switch gear in light voltage section. I have done all different areas to build the gear from the very beginning in wiring all the way threw structures to assemble gear and get ready for test. I currently lead the closeout section, in which I receive the gear from testing and begin to prepare it for shipping. This process includes having it inspected by engineers and supervisors. Clean the gear and get loose parts ready for shipment, install covers, take pictures of the gear, and various other jobs. I have also been the backup PLC for LVA. Jobs I have learned include how to assign jobs to the schedule and how to set up truck shipment weights and dimensions. I have had to learn how to lead the line, keep the team on task and on time, and attend and lead meetings every day. I currently have the highest promotion of tech 3 in my time and eaton and loolking for to more.

I assembled small assemblies which included, tubing, piping, different fasteners, and small wiring, put them together to be installed later in larger gear.

I then moved into the plastic department where I selected different pieces of plastic that had recently been cut from a CNC machine. I would deburr each piece with different tools and knives to make them smooth, clean, and ready to pass to a welder to be welded.

Gathered products from shelves in a vast warehouse within specific time limits. listened through headset for specific item numbers and specific locations within the warehouse. Built a complete pallet of items and operated a forklift to the pallet wrapping station, Before loading onto the truck for delivery. Each order specifically differed from the other, holding 10 to 400 items per pallet, averaging roughly 12 to 15 pallets built per 8-hour shift.

Learned general machine shop safety and etiquette. learned operation and general maintance of shop tools,CNC machinery, as well as heavy forklift operations. Also made deliveries of finished product to customers, as well as established relations with vendors of heavy metal stock.

Specialized in customer relations. Ensured vehicles were in and out of the gas station as fast as possible to prevent backup. Also received and checked in products in the convenience store, stocked shelves, took over control and daily maintenance of car wash.
