- Currently leading the design and development of a REST API that will perform complex validations on all the bookkeeping entries made to Edward Jones client accounts, eliminating costly mainframe usage, saving the firm an estimated $1.5 million per year
- Developed a full stack web application to update client accounts impacted by corporate action events using Java, Spring, MongoDB, TypeScript, React and Kafka
- Developed an internal REST API and Kafka Producer for sending real-time, client account activity(cash deposits/withdraws, distributions etc.) to our bookkeeping vendor using Java, Spring, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Created a majorly successful formal pair programming strategy for my team by mentoring another developer for over 16 weeks and documenting our experience
- Consistently recognized by my team as an emerging leader due to the high level of commitment I bring to work every day and my ability to drive valuable discussions by asking insightful and sometimes challenging questions
- Delivering clean, readable, extensible, well-tested, well-documented code on time, in a collaborative, agile environment over two week sprint cycles
- Deploying code using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and Jenkins
