JROTC Program

The JROTC program is a federally funded high school program in the US that teaches leadership, citizenship, and personal responsibility. It also covers american history, health and wellness, and geography. We had to wear a uniform, either Class A's or Class B's, once a week, take part in physical training (PT), and practice marching drills. Some extra curriculum's they provided was Rifle Team, Raiders, and Color Guard, which I participated in both Rifle Team and Color guard. Some benefit's that are given is by completing JROTC, it helps students earn PE or elective credits, it loos good on a college application, or they can enter the military at a higher rank if they choose to enlist.
