I work in a fast paced environment, I pack up and take all of the takeout orders, making sure everything is accurate. I take phone calls and help customers decide on what they want and make orders. Once the guest gets the restaurant, I close out their check and I run the food out to the car. For takeout, we also close all the servers out and we do all the paperwork for the night, counting the tills as well.
I am planning on leaving this job, but Swick has taught me a lot of things, it’s a very fast pace environment, I take orders, offering the promotions we have for that week, trying to sell them on the tumblers that we have, we make all the drinks and hand them out in a timely fashion. we run the drive-through and the indoor dining.
As a host, I got a lot of experience with happy and angry customers and how to deal with them, use a lot of problem-solving skills working with servers and helping them out. As a busser I got a lot experience with working in a fast pace environment and keeping up with cleaning the restaurant making everything was up to standard. working in salads I got experience of working in the kitchen communicating and asking me for help when I needed it, making sure everything was clean, prepped and ready to use.
