As a Decision Support Center Peer Specialist, I am involved in guiding and supporting consumers in creating and formulating goals, as well as crafting a treatment plan for their psychiatry appointment. Additionally I play a crucial role in educating and helping consumers access recovery resources that align with their individual service plan.

  • Check in clients before they see the prescriber to go through their Recovery plan, medication list, and any recent updates. I will also conduct a health report with the clients as needed.
  • Assisting the prescriber with rescheduling no show clients if it is past their scheduled appointment time.
