For three Saturday's in the month of September, HTHS Softball hosted a camp for girls in 2nd to 8th grade. During this camp, my teammates and I helped teach the girls how to field ground balls, pop fly's, and hit.
During the months of October and January, the National Honor Society at HTHS hosts the Red Cross Blood Drive. During these two events, I have donated blood and helped individuals that were donating through the sign in process.
Through out my time as a HTHS Volleyball Team member, I volunteered in our Kids Camp, Green and Gold Spiker's, and 5th & 6th Grade Team Tournament. During the Kid's Camp and Green and Gold Spiker's, my teammates and I coached kids in 1st Grade all the way to 8th Grade. We taught them the basics of volleyball, such as how to pass, set, and serve. At the 5th & 6th Grade Tournament, my teammates and I worked a variety of jobs, such as, line judge, score keeper, and down ref.
