  • I accept a job for teachers at different schools. I go to the listed school 15 minutes before the start time, and go over the lesson plans. I spend all day following the plans and doing what the teachers have planned while they’re gone. I get the kids to and from where they need to go safely, while also making sure they have fun and are learning.

  • Taking customers' drive-thru orders while explaining or helping them with any questions they have.
  • Helping customers pay for their food and handing out food, making sure everything is double-checked to ensure everything is handed out correctly.
  • Bagging people's food and ensuring nothing is missing.
  • Making smoothies, ice cream, shakes, coffee, and Mcflurrys all in a timely manner, so they are handed out to customers without a long wait time.
  • Cooking fries to be fresh, but also making sure there isn’t too much or too little depending on what kind of rush we have.
  • Wiping down messes and restocking things needed as the day goes on.
  • Cleaning the lobby so people have a clean place to sit and eat.
  • Bagging and handing out people's lobby orders, as well as taking a few orders. (Most people order on the kiosk these days) As well as taking out Curbside orders and orders for the drive thru who ordered more complex orders with a slightly longer wait time.
  • But most importantly, making sure everyone I interact with has a great experience. I greet everyone with a smile, and leave them wishing them to have a great rest of the morning, day, or night.

  • Working at Panda Express was a great experience for me; this job taught me how to be quick, efficient, and clean. Most of the time, I would be taking people's orders and assembling their food right in front of them. Making sure that they were getting the right amount of food they paid for, but also making sure that I was only giving out fresh food. Calling out to the back of the house was very important to get food made quickly. I also had the position of being at the cash register for the lobby and the drive-thru. Every so often, I would also be instructed to take a few minutes to clean the lobby so people coming in weren’t sitting at dirty tables. When it came time to close the lobby, my favorite part was sweeping and mopping because the amount of rice that is spilled throughout the day is a lot. I cleaned bathrooms, tables, and chairs down to the legs, windows, outside table and chairs, walls, restocked napkins and utensils, cleaned the soda machine, swept and mopped, and then got checked off to make sure I didn’t miss a spot or stain.
