Personal Teaching Philosophy

Early Childhood Education is the start of a child's forever, and we as educators set the tone for what's to come. I believe that the experiences had, and the memories created during these pivotal years, shape our entire future. I believe that children who are shown love by those around them, taught crucial topics through a variety of different methods, and who are spoken to as if they are the future of our world, will be the most well developed adults down the road. I believe it is our job as educators to teach every child who crosses our path to be a better person. To leave each situation, room, or person they meet a little better than they found them. The world of education is one that is constructed from the top down, meaning that only those who model their desired results, will be the ones to receive them on the opposite end. Being the person you are looking for in those around you is the key to success, both in and outside of the classroom.
