Motivated and compassionate student at Grand Canyon University, where I’m studying Biology with an emphasis on Pre-Medicine and proud to be part of the Honors College. Newly certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a good foundation in emergency medical care and a passion for helping others. Dedicated to providing exceptional pre-hospital care in emergency situations while pursuing further knowledge in the medical field. I’m eager to apply my education, EMT experience, and problem-solving skills to support patient care in high-pressure environments. Committed to continuous learning and professional development in preparation for a future medical career.

Medical Mission, Mexico (March 2023)  

• Assisted in the establishment of a clinic, focused on providing medical care to underprivileged populations in rural areas. Responsibilities included taking patient vitals, supporting physicians in prescribing medications, and assisting with minor procedures. Gained clinical exposure through observation of childbirth, implantation procedures, and the treatment of patients with severe infectious diseases in a local hospital. Demonstrated commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved communities.

Shadowing (October 2024-Present)

• Shadowed an internal medicine doctor, trauma surgeon, and psychiatrist, gaining valuable insights into patient care, medical charting systems, medication prescribing, surgical procedures, and effective approaches to addressing mental health issues.

Volunteer - Unitek EMT (August 2024-April 2025)

• Volunteered to assist in the training of new EMT students, providing guidance on patient care and simulating medical emergency scenarios to prepare them for real-world challenges in the field.
