Summary

I have worked in executive protection and security fields in high threat, non-permissive environments with my thirteen years as a Military Police officer in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), followed by security positions held with DynCorp International. I have over fifteen years in the security industry. I have served in Afghanistan, as well as close protection details in the U.S. In 2001, I began my career in the USMC as a Military Police officer. From 2005-2008, I worked as a physical security specialist, monitoring security systems, base access, conducted surveys of sensitive sites to ensure proper security standards, and assigned greater responsibility and more duties in a demanding high-tempo environment. I was a team member on a low-profile security/risk-management platform in Afghanistan in direct support of USAID and implementing partners, which emphasized training and mentoring to the Afghan Police Protection Force (APPF) team members and developing crisis management strategies to support client’s needs. Over approximately two years, I conducted several hundred discreet low profile, close protection assignments for the client facilitating their continued success in a dynamic, constantly evolving, high threat environment. I am currently enrolled at American Military University in the School of Security and Global Studies. Associates of Arts degree in Counter Terrorism Studies and currently enrolled in the bachelor’s degree program for Security Management with a concentration in Government Security and currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
