As a registered nurse for twenty-one years, I have learned strong communication skills, how to build relationships, provided patient education, used critical thinking and problem-solving skills to lead to my success as a nurse. My ability to build rapport, understand my patient's needs, and present solutions using my interpersonal skills showcases the reason behind my multiple Daisy Award nominations for providing outstanding care. I’ve spent the majority of my career as a labor and delivery nurse for nineteen years. I currently work as a multifunctional medical spa nurse that provides compassionate and personalized care in many settings. I specialize in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, hair restoration and regrowth, and I’m certified in acoustic wave therapy. Other duties include: building clientele within the medical spa, promote and sell products, and help patient’s gain the confidence they are seeking. I’ve successfully trained newly employed staff and students, charge nurse, circulating nurse during cesarean sections and triage nurse in a fast paced and high acuity hospital. I’ve served on various committees for quality improvement within the nursing department and the hospital.
