Worked within the consulting project management team as a site engineer in six different projects including Roads and Infrastructure Program, Hamad International Airport, Khalifah International Stadium, Intercontinental Hotel, Al Waab City, and VIP villa in Pearl-Qatar. Main roles and responsibilities including:

• Overseeing execution of contract work by contractor for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Liaising with civil technicians to prepare and update maps, drawings and blueprints using manual and AutoCAD.
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings, as-built drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Preparing daily reports, monthly reports, tracking schedule updates, punch lists, project close-out documents and reporting progress to management.
• Inspecting installation of precast structures, underground services, concrete and earthworks.
• Coordinating site investigations, documenting and presenting issues to management as needed.
• Communicating and coordinating project work with all project team members.
• Attending progress meetings and recording meetings minutes.
• Assisting resident engineers and project managers in tracking cash flows and maintaining project budget.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures and policies.
• Overseeing flexible and rigid pavement construction, evaluation, and maintenance works.
• Overseeing sampling and testing of concrete, soil, and reinforcement steel works.
• Reviewing engineering specifications, scopes of work, payments and other documents.

Worked independently as a specification engineer to get materials to be approved on the upcoming project’s vendor lists. Main roles and responsibilities including :

• Meeting with consulting firm’s engineers to specify construction materials for upcoming projects.
• Conducting site visits to resolve all problems related to construction materials to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attending site testing, commissioning, and training works for application of different materials.
• Recognizing sales opportunities and link potential customers with appropriate sales team.
• Participating in construction materials exhibitions and events.

Worked as a site engineer within the contractor in the Expansion of Jordan Bromine Plant project. Main roles and responsibilities including :

• Day-to-day managing and coordinating a team of 25 site labor force for execution of construction works and overseeing quality control.
• Analyzing and interpreting construction designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Recording daily events and activities in site diary to evaluate process and improve productivity.
• Carrying out internal inspections of construction activities to verify its conformity with drawings, specifications, method statements
  and inspection testing plan.
• Coordinating with consultant’s engineer representative for inspection of work and performing required tests.
• Preparing daily progress reports and filling out other paperwork.
• Ordering and tracking delivery of construction materials and supplies from vendors.
• Responding to technical concerns quickly and effectively devising solutions on site.
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, blueprints to effectively plan infrastructure and construction activities.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures and policies.

Interned as a civil site engineer within Sigma’s consulting team in the Mecca Plaza Commercial Complex project. Main responsibilities and roles including :

• Assisting with site and construction management duties.
• Assisting in reviewing shop drawings, materials submittals, and method statements.
• Assisting in preparing daily reports and filling out other paperwork.
