    • We fought wild fires in nevada and california for usually 3 weeks at a time. During that time we would cut fire line around the fire using different tools ranging from simple hand tools to a chainsaw. I ran the chainsaw the last 18 months working there. Knowing how to operate safely and clean a chainsaw. Also being able to hike with the chainsaw in different climates and terrains. Working well with a team and safely at all times. During the off season we would manage vegetation on private land and govt owned land to assist with fire reduction during fire season. Also helping with floods and different natural disasters in nevada during the off season. From filling sandbags or clearing drainages in neighborhoods.
