Additional Information

  • I was a Police Explorer with the Lakewood Police Department, located in Lakewood, WA. I was an explorer from 2007 until 2014. During this time, I was a part of numerous ride-alongs and received training in field exercises, physical fitness, radio communication, and marksmanship.
  • During the ride-alongs, I personally observed police interactions while responding to domestic disputes, traffic violations, fights, physical assaults, medical emergencies, and much more. We also provided security for public events.
