Labor and Delivery nursing exposed me to providing care to antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients. Care of newborns included stabilizations at birth through discharge.

Caring for moms that preferred low intervention management, unmedicated and medicated birth were included. Family and doula support were encouraged. I also experienced care provided by midwives.
