Summary

Exceptionally driven person with a strong desire to assist others. Capable of overseeing projects and collaborating with a wide variety of individuals. Has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a constant desire to learn new things. My commitment to promoting community spirit and my flexible schedule are demonstrated by my volunteer activity, which includes major contributions to both school-related and extracurricular events.

Work History

Volunteer

I've had the chance of helping at a few school-sponsored events at various points in my time in high school, including STEAM night, basketball games, and even school fundraisers. I've also committed to volunteering for a while now at non-school activities like the Second Harvest Food Bank, where I would package food. I've had fun volunteering thus far and am eager to commit to more to support my community.

Teacher's Assistant

English Class

In my sophomore year, I also volunteered to assist my English teacher with the daily slideshows that she uses for both her English courses and her AP Language class. By writing down the agendas and reminders that my teacher gives me, I've developed some editing and slide-and template-working abilities to match the topic of the lesson plans. From that opportunity, I've learnt a lot and acquired a lot of new abilities. I'm also willing to learn more in the future.

Youth Camp Leader

Volunteered for about a week at YMCA Camp Campbell at Santa Cruz where I was a cabin leader, taking care of campers from different schools. I made sure they arrived at the activities at the camp on time and made sure they were safe.

Extended Care Worker

Worked at an extended care where i took care of kids in Pre-K and up. Made sure to keep the busy with fun activities to pass time before they get picked up. Communicated with parents to ensure the kids where dropped and picked up safely.

Student Event Coordinator

Worked with my school to help with their annal fundraisers where I decorated the hall and was in charge of registration table where I made sure guests had tickets to enter event.

Sports

When I was younger, I always signed up for swimming lessons and completed them successfully. However, as I've gotten older, I've learned how to manage my time and schedule so that I can continue my education and stay active. Since the sixth grade, I have been a member of the basketball team at my school, and during my freshman year, I also enrolled for the volleyball team. In order to be happy and healthy while doing what I love and experiencing new things, I've grown to love sports and play with friends and get to know new people, while learning new tricks and skills.

Hobbies and Interests

Aside from athletics, I have a huge passion for art. In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, and color. My go-to method for taking my mind off of problems and concentrating on doing something new and imaginative is always painting or drawing. I also love trying new recipes for drinks. I grew up making my own ice coffees and matcha for my family and friends. I find experimenting with different recipes a great way for me to express my love and passion for art.
