  • I started working for the Buffalo Sewer Authority in 2007 seasonal laborer goods included mopping floors and mowing lawns on the plant assisting the carpenter occasionally helping millrights with jobs on the plant. In addition I worked in the stock room on the plant handing out supplies and stocking the selves itemizing items. At the end of 2008 I began working for Sewer Maintenance as a laborer I worked on Erc for a few years getting supplemental pay jobs included exposing laterals, water lines. Sewer lines installing pvc Sewer lines installing top sections of 2x2 receivers installing new manholes which included doing courses of brick work. By the year 2010 I began operating a vactor, Jobs included flushing Sewer lines flushing receiver lines sucking out debris. I was laborer 2 training most of the Equipment operators on the vactor In addition to the vactor I also operated the clam truck occasionally. By 2013 I started operating the backhoe working on Erc crew jobs included excavation, carrying out materials that was needed for the job such as top sections, gravel sand, bags of mortar and cement ect. After approximately 3 years I began working as a Sewer maintenance supervisor day to day since the end of 2016 a job I enjoy greatly my duties include curb box repair cleaning and maintenance of receivers for the northern and western parts of the city in addition I also write up jobs that need to be done such as top sections of receivers that need replacing broken curbs that need repair, receivers that are below grade, receivers that are plugged internally, we assist the water department a lot when they have water breaks we also answer 311 calls daily.
