My junior and senior year, my track coach was really involved with elementary students and bubbles. He needed help with blowing bubbles for them. A group of us would come go to various elementary schools blowing bubbles for the little kids in their classrooms and outside on the playground. We attended dying black history month, a trunk or treats for special little kids, and autism awareness month.
Participated in color guard from freshman to junior year, contributing to school spirit and community engagement.
Contributed to my school's 'Downey youth vendor fair', an event where young students showcased their work for sale at a park. I collaborated with two friends to crochet items, leveraging our skills. In the weeks leading up to the event, I learned:

When we have home track and field meets whether for middle school or high school, I would help with long jump: measuring, high jump: changing the height, and hurdles: changing the height and placing them on the track.
