As an exhaust technician I learned and practiced many skills such as MIG welding, light fabrication, tube bending, diagnostics, and more. Through exhaust work I also gained a better understanding of the vehicles I worked on. I also furthered my experience in customer service by helping customers in person and over the phone, giving estimates and scheduling appointments.
For 4 months I lived and worked in Yellowstone National park through Xanterra. I worked in the laundry department where my job was to run the machines that ironed and folded laundry. I also was responsible for moving carts of laundry to machines as needed around the facility.
I started at Papa John's working in store making pizza's, answering phones and oven tending. I was promoted to manager when I was seventeen and learned customer service, money handling, and other management skills. After managing for a few months I turned eighteen and became a driver because there was more money to be made.
