Factotum is a construction/ remodeling company. I currently help with a residential home remodel. Some of the areas that I assist in and am skilled at are: carpentry (custom cabinets and drawers), painting (interior and exterior), concrete work (slabs and fence footings), roofing (removing and installing new shingles), sanding, demolition, lawn irrigation systems, and fencing. Some of the specific skills I have for this job are: power tools and heavy equipment.

• Crude oil measurement (quality) (accuracy)

As an operator I was in charge for meeting specific target gravity spec's, this would include constant measuring of the oil and operational change's as well as making sure the companies that were delivering to the plant were sending oil that was acceptable by energy transfer's standard's. This included the trucking companies that brought us oil. I was also in charge for making sure the oil meter's were counting barrel's correctly by constantly proving each meter system's.

• Crude oil blend specialist

The plant that I worked at specialize's in crude oil blending. I was in charge of meeting our daily nomination's which could often exceed 100,000 barrel's. Often times I would have more than one blend nom. Example WTS, and WTL.

• Met quota's for high flow pipeline's

Energy Transfer move's a substantial amount of crude oil. I was in charge of meeting the daily, monthly, and yearly nomination's for more than 15 different pipeline system's. These pipeline's I worked with had flow rates that varied from 1,000 to 20,000 barrel's per hour. I helped deliver and store more than a million barrel's per day.

• Storing crude oil

At this facility there are 24 tank's that could each hold up to 50,000 barrel's of oil. I was in charge of filling and emptying these tank's. This task required me to be extremely focused on where the level of each tank was during operation because the tanks have floating roofs, which mean's they could overfill when pumped into and landed when being pumped out.

• Plant supervision

Being an operator required a diligent effort in making sure the plant was running safe and efficient. This would include timely maintenance checks on equipment such as: high flow pump's, automated/ hand valves, pipeline's, tanks, meters, truck lacts and provers. This position really helped me to get good at trouble shooting what was wrong with equipment. I was also in charge for notifying mechanic's, maintenance worker's, I&E, or contractor's to look into the equipment that was not working correctly and or needed replaced.

• Operating the facility/ office work

The tank facility that I worked at in Midland could be ran primarily from automated screen's inside an office. So I have experience with SCADA system. I was in charge of stopping and starting high flow line's, as well as opening and closing valve's for pipeline line ups. I always made it a point to operate safe and productive. I was also in charge of 15 different truck lact stations. I had to make sure the units were being productive and running correctly. A lot of the computer work we did inside the office included cutting ticket's for batches of oil, inserting meter proving's, storing data for crude oil, and keeping up with emails.

• Specific experience and skills

I have experience with excel, SCADA, and crude oil shake outs. This job really helped me become skilled in many different areas such as communication, multitasking, team orientation, responsibility, accountability, working under high pressure, and showing up on time (shift started at 4:00 a.m, I was never late)

Installed aerial and underground fiber optic for the Lubbock and surrounding area. At this job I ran my own bucket truck with a helper. I was in charge of meeting a standard for quality of the fiber installation as well as exceeding daily productivity measure's for our work. My bucket truck always had good number's for the amount of fiber me and my partner would install each day (our work was measured in feet). At this job I learned how to be independent and self motivated because I was in charge of the truck and it was up to me and my partner to be productive with our time. On the underground side I have experience with mini excavator's, backhoe's, and vac trailer's. From the aerial installation of fiber I have experience in operating a bucket truck, power tool's, and reading fiber optic installation map's.

I started 806 Pool Service shortly after high school. I offered weekly/ monthly maintenance and cleaning for residential and commercial pools. I also serviced and repaired pool equipment. I had a regular service route for pool cleaning and was working for a pool construction company( Lux's Pool's) part time to learn that side of the business. It was there I learned how to install equipment for new pool's such as heater's, pump's, filter's, and more. I then started working as a contractor for a franchise pool construction company (Primer Pool and Spa) installing new equipment. I did all this wile maintaining and growing my service route of regular pool cleaning customer's. I also was in charge of the maintenance for the Physical Therapy Today's pool's which had four different location's. Owning a pool service company was often challenging but I learned many skills. I learned how to be self motivated and self dependent. My communications skills grew and I also got good at customer service.
