• Greeting customers when they walk through the door
• Building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations
• Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer's order if needed
• Inviting customers to search the company's website for coupons and other ways to save money
• Inviting the customer to join a loyalty program/mailing list
• Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
• Provides administrative support for a team which includes distributing mail, filing documents, ordering supplies, managing inventory, scanning documents, etc.
• Reviews and answers correspondence.
• Conducts research, prepares statistical reports and spreadsheets, and prepares presentations.
• Coordinates calendars and schedules team meetings and employee reviews/touchpoints.
• Organizes and promotes team events such as Give Backs and celebrations.
• Assists with onboarding activities for new hires.
• Manages and records team budgets and expenditures.
