President | Imperial College: Global Space Design Competition  Grade 11

• Attended physics and engineering lectures. Organized lecture contents for 70+ engineering students.
• Led a team of 7 to research how biofuel can meet sustainable development goals.
• Elected as the president of 50+ students in the Global Space Design Competition. Led them to design and present a moon base. Organized brainstorms, delegated tasks, reviewed requirements + progress, and facilitated cross-departmental collaborations.

Member | Nanotechnology & Electric Vehicles Online Research Seminar    Grade 11

• Participated in a seven-week research seminar led by Cambridge Professor Durkan to learn and research the principles of electric vehicles and how they can reduce carbon emissions.
• Worked in a group (4) to research and present possible ways to overcome obstacles in electric aircraft.
• Wrote a 9-page individual paper to suggest changing Li-ion cells to fluoride ion cells, then evolving to Li-ion cells with silicon nanowire anodes to boost the low specific energy of the batteries.

• Taught interdisciplinary science principles like special relativity and new energy in weekly meetings.

Member | London International Youth Science Forum   Grade 11

• Researched, wrote, and presented a 14-page proposal on which fiber-reinforced composite is more effective in reducing the weight of electric vehicles and maintaining other properties like high flexural strength. Won the bronze prize.
