The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Music Industry: A Comprehensive Analysis

➢  Conducted field research on how Covid-19 has been changing the way people listen to music.

➢  Reviewed 10 literatures and referred to 10 news articles on major music events during the Covid-19, and gathered thefirst-hand data of 7 people through customized questions and in-person interviews.

➢  Wrote a 40-page paper based on the information and data analysis, and concluded that TikTok and NFT music seizedthe opportunity to grow during the epidemic; South Korea was the least affected by the epidemic because of its steady online music events, which laid the foundation for the industry; The most affected aspect was the way of accessing music and interactions between audience and musicians.

➢  Described the whole process and details of the pow-wow in terms of its clothing, music, rules, etiquette, etc.

➢  Talked about the vital role of pow-wow in the cultural traditions of the Indians, specifically in passing on their mostimportant traditions to the next generation.

➢  Expounded the importance of ideology, its influence on individuals and society, and the way it deepens people’sunderstanding of complex social and political issues.

Teresa Teng: A Chinese Pop Music Icon 2022 Fall ➢ Conducted a chronological analysis of the factors that contributed to the popularity of Teresa Teng’s songs and theirimpacts in China, Taiwan, and Japan, such as the incorporation of traditional Chinese instruments, the resonancewith local cultural contexts, etc.


Piazzolla: Innovation or Demolition 2021 Summer ➢ Explored the debate surrounding Piazzolla’s nuevo tango and its impact on the traditional genre of tango, byintroducing the history of Argentine tango, discussing the development of his music style, and illustrating his contribution to the development of tango music.
