- Operating machines & making parison adjustments, I know how to change a stricker plate, I know how to change a hose if there's a water leak, I fill up the resin in the blender which is 60 lbs per bucket and it takes about 3 to 4 buckets at the end of the shift,I inspect the bottles every hour & filling out paper work, being a trainee for new operators, changing shear ring, adjusting the tail length from the top of mold, Adjusting the weight from the length of the tail or from the Computer Screen, Keeping around my machine clean for safety reasons, I started at KIK in Nov2000 as a Relief Operator for about 5 years until they did away with position which now they have brought it back naming it floater, I've also been a utility worker, Now I'm a Machine Operator that can operate every machine in the blowmold department
