  • Provide strategic HR leadership and support to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa – New Braunfels and Shared Services. Scope of responsibility includes 24 Leaders and 603 Associates for New Braunfels, and 26 Leaders and 152 Associates for Shared Services. Advise leadership in all aspects of Human Resources and address Associate relations issues in accordance with CHRISTUS Health policies and/or legal requirements. Partner with facility leaders to identify, develop and retain high-potential Associates and provide coaching and guidance on appropriate action with low performing Associates. Drive HR initiatives by assisting with implementing change while working to mitigate challenges at all levels of the organization. Provide support by consulting and collaborating on issues including but not limited to compensation, benefits, staffing, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations and performance management. Partner and collaborate with our HR Centers of Excellence to ensure that policies, programs, and processes are executed at the regional level. Monitor and ensure the success of facility-based activities, including turnover rates and other key HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decision making. Participate with facility Labor Council regarding requisition approval, charge order approval and off cycle market adjustment requests. This includes analyzing Strategic Workforce Planning metrics and department data. Represent CHRISTUS Santa Rosa on the CHRISTUS Health Job Description Committee which is working to standardize all job descriptions across CHRISTUS Health.

  • Partner with Leaders and Associates to resolve HR issues and concerns. Ministry Lead for maintenance of job descriptions, non-clinical competencies and HR SharePoint site. Actively collaborate with Ministry VP of HR for implementation and roll-out of assigned projects. Manage Professional Nursing Certification pay process for Spohn ministry. Ministry representation on HR enterprise-wide committees such as Job Description Standardization, HR Policy Standardization and Infor badge implementation.
