• Orientation on busy floor, not completed. Job role included nursing care of 4 patients. Med administration, frequent iv pushes, continuous telemetry, intermittent bi-pap, bedside placement of urinary catheters and ng tubes, IV starts and lab draws with delivery of specimens to lab, Vasoactive drugs at set rate. Insulin and heparin gtts per protocol. Accompanied patients to procedures and during transfer on telemetry. Q 4 hour assessments and hourly rounding. Bed baths daily on bed bound patients. Bed alarms. Basically critical care patients without invasive lines. 1:4 patient ratio.

• Phone triage from outside facilities for direct admit to floor and ICU. ER transfers for higher level of care. Bed rounding and Internal transfers. Attendance at nightly census/staffing bed conference.

CVICU / NTICU travel contract was in cvicu on days and I was floated between both units as needs arose. Invasive lines, swan ganz, central venous catheters, arterial lines, neuro drains, icp monitors, procedures with conscious sedation. Frequent bedside procedures.

• 20 bed Cardiac step down unit. Utilized as relief charge nurse and nurse educator. Precepting staff and educating on documentation for upcoming Jcaho audit.
• Travel staff nurse with nurse patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
