Becoming a police officer is my career path because I want a career where I can help people, protect my community, and make a positive difference in people’s lives. I’ve always been interested in law, public safety, and learning how the justice system works. I believe working in law enforcement would allow me to serve my community while gaining real-life experience that can help me reach my long-term goals. Playing football and baseball throughout my childhood and high school taught me discipline, teamwork, communication, responsibility, and how to stay focused under pressure. I’m currently attending Valencia College to earn my A.A. in Political Science, and my plan is to transfer to UCF to complete my bachelor’s degree. After earning my bachelor’s, I plan to apply to law schools and earn my law degree so I can continue building a career in the legal field. My goal is for law enforcement to be part of my journey toward becoming an attorney, giving me experience with the justice system and helping me better understand the people and communities I hope to serve.
