As a first daughter of immigrant parents, I was determined to build myself into a fast, efficient, hard-working, and reliable person. I learned how to work under crisis situations, meanwhile keeping a professional mindset. Working at Belacan Grill Malaysian Bistro as a Hostess Manager, comunitcating with my team was something I was very effective on. I wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page and also updated on any change. Although my love for fast paste is within me, I also find comfort and stablitlity knowing I am doing my job with a passion and love. This drove me to began volunteering at my local Church in caring for 0-1 year olds. I was onboarded pretty quickly after being interviewed since they were able to see how caring and open minded I am. I attend Church every Thursday night for Young Adults night. This lead me to wanting to do more for my community, espically because the love and care I have for everyone holds a special place in my heart. Also, I just finished my Certified Nursing Assistant classes and passed the state exam, making me certified. Throughout my schooling I learned the essential skills of caring for those who aren't able too but also providing independence for them to feel that they are able to still do things for themselves. Meanwhile I cheer them on for completing the skills, to provide motivation. My goal is to be able to work for Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital and add to the team with my compassion and hard working skills. My end goal would be to go for the Bachelors in Nursing, having my BSN.
