Direct and support land and nutrient management staff to comply with company programs and regulatory requirements by scheduling and performing duties and/or providing technical support needed by LNM personnel to complete task. Direct and support operation of irrigation pumps, reels, and pipe, tractors, hand tools, and any other tools/equipment necessary.
Coordinate repairs on pumping equipment for farm irrigation systems. Coordinate all inspections by NC DWR to ensure compliance with all environmental rules and regulations. Communicate with Drag Hose and Farming departments to ensure application and farming goals are achieved.
Land application of swine effluent via drag hose system. Coordinate application with multiple departments at multiple farms. Ensure all equipment is serviced and operational. Ensure compliance with all environmental rules and regulations of state regulatory agencies.
Land application or swine effluent using varying systems. Weekly inspections of farms. Weekly reporting of lagoon levels, and rainfall. Brush cutting, mowing of grass, spot applications of herbicide, up keep of farm appearance. SIPS and EMS audits. Servicing and repairing farm and irrigation equipment.
