  • Partnered with the Head of Responsible Investing at Nuveen, TIAA’s asset manager, to establish a cross- functional SWAT teams consisting of business leaders, marketing, legal, risk and compliance, to monitor and comment on issues affecting our business in the European Union (e.g., Sustainable Finance in the EU, ESG proposals from the Department of Labor in the US, Stewardship codes in Japan and the UK)
  • Leveraged and enhanced the relationships with major associations (e.g., The American Council of Life Insurers, The Investment Company Institute and The Security Industry and Financial Market Association) ensuring that TIAA either lead or had a direct input on projects important to the company and industry
