Face to face sales & marketing for nonprofits and charities. We worked with the nonprofits and charities to help the world become a better place. I have worked with the charity called The Nature Conservancy and I would get people to understand that their help would make a better world with my verbal and communication skills, this job required me to talk to random people and have a lot of customer service and to be okay if people ignored me, didn’t wanna talk to me, cut me off, etc… This job gave me so much more social skills and I feel way more comfortable talking to people in person face to face even if they didn’t want to support the charity.
During this job we were traveling all around the Bay Area going to city to city and town to town and would set up outside, encouraging people to talk & listen to us especially help out the cause. I have gained a lot of experience, knowledge, and skills within this sales & marketing job.
