  • Just recently promoted to HR Manager. I support the day-to-day operations of Tessy Plastics. I help advise employees of all relevant programs, policies and procedures including but not limited to employee benefits, employee relations and new/revised policies.
  • Assist internal and external customers to complete projects in an efficient and timely manner and to complete the day-to-day administrative requirements of the Human Resources function.
  • When necessary, conduct internal investigation and provide assistance with disciplinary and counseling of employees.
  • Act on behalf of Director of Human Resources in her absence. I am responsible for weekly approval of timecards for the hourly Human Resource staff.

  • Develop and maintain recruiting resources, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates for selection in order to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of employee personnel files, completing and filing requests for information, and tracking completed documentation.
  • Ensure employee understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employees as situations arise.
  • Act as a liaison with benefit vendors to ensure efficient benefits administration. Also acts as a liaison with the temp agencies for staffing purposes.
  • Administratively ensures compliance with all state and federal employment laws. To include compliance with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and FLSA.
  • Attend unemployment hearings, Division of Human Rights hearings, or EEOC hearings as necessary.

  • Assistant to the hub Senior manager, I was basically his secretary. I answer the phones, schedule appointments, process invoices, complete internal audits, assist customers in locating packages and any other task given to complete.
  • Admin, where I am fully involved in auditing, processes and files, correcting errors, also managing Quality Assurance clerks, to make sure their time is being well spent, always putting the customer first.

  • I was strained to fill in as a back up to the Store receiver. Scan incoming product from various vendors and to match the invoices the store was billed for. Update and keep track of inventory, scan old/outdated/damaged product leaving the store.
  • Assisted with opening and closing the cash office, and completed the daily and weekly store reconciliation, to determine loss or profit.
  • Assistant to the store manager, my responsibilities included interviewing and training newly hired cashiers. I completed store orders and stocked shelves. Most of the time monitoring front end of the store, assisting customers, writing cashier schedules, overall cleanliness and ensuring good customer service.
