Serve as a collocated Security Specialist to assist in the development and implementation of a multi-disciplined security program to protect collateral classified information for the UH60 Blackhawk and Lakota within the Utility Helicopters Project Office. Provide general counterintelligence support to include Information, Industrial , Personnel and Operations Security (OPSEC). Assist in providing advice and guidance on protection of classified information to upper management, mid-management, government and contractor personnel. Assist in the development and implementation of a security education/awareness program. Assist in the development of counterintelligence and security plans and procedures for safeguarding classified information. Assist in coordinating and conducting routine security inspections, investigations, inquiries, and assistance visits and provide reports and recommendations for corrective actions. Assist in the preparation of Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification, DD 254. Prepare and transmit all outgoing visit requests and receive all incoming visit requests through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Process all visitor and badge requests as required for both contractor and government personnel to Gate 9 Visitor Center and initiate all memorandums to Sparkman Management Office for individuals to gain access to Sparkman Center.. Manage approximately 900 Common Access Cards (CAC) for UHPO Contractor, Custom Border Patrol, Airbus and State Department Personnel. Process new CAC requests and initiate CAC transfers working with Facility Security Officers and notify UHPO Trusted Agent to revoke CAC when turned into UHPO Security Office upon contractor departure. Manage the UHPO Trusted Agent and Roster of Personnel who are located offsite who have been issued a CAC. These rosters are updated immediately when new information is received. Answer questions regarding security clearance information on assigned personnel and visitors. Initiate Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP) form for UHPO CORE employees when investigation update is due and submit to AMCOM G2. Manage all In and Out processing of UHPO personnel. Manage Derivative Classification roster to ensure all UHPO individuals with a Secret Internet Protocol Internet Router Network (SIPRNET) annual training is up to date. Ensure proper administrative accountability for all in-coming and out-going classified material and conduct security self-inspections to ensure all employees are protecting classified information properly. Review requests for public release information upon receipt from Operations and Technical POCs. Change the security container combinations and cipher lock combinations as required. Assist in providing security oversight and guidance pertaining to document marking, classification issues, storage, destruction and transmission of classified information. Issues and controls courier cards and orders required to hand carry classified defense information. Verifies cards are issued for the correct level of access and ensures that appropriate security briefings are conducted before issue. Maintains a roster of personnel who receive courier cards and orders. Conducts OCONUS briefings and debriefings for government personnel. Implemented a tracking process for SIPR taskers and outgoing visit requests in DISS. Ensure all in and out-processing personnel are added or deleted in our Velocity Lock Down system in Building 5308. Appointed in writing, as the Primary Key Control Custodian for UHPO. I am responsible for 109 keys to various offices, stairwells and shred it bins located in Building 5308. Perform other duties as assigned.

Provide general counterintelligence support to include Information, Industrial, Physical and Personnel Security, Foreign Disclosure, Automated Information Systems (AIS) Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Communications Security (COMSEC). Assist in providing advice and guidance on protection of classified information to upper management, mid-management, government and contractor personnel. Assist in the development and implementation of a security education/awareness program. Assist in the development of counterintelligence and security plans and procedures for safeguarding classified information. Assist in coordinating and conducting routine security inspections, investigations, inquiries, and assistance visits and provide reports and recommendations for corrective actions. Prepare and transmit all outgoing visit requests and receive all incoming visit requests through the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Process all visitor and badge requests into the Automated Visitor Control MAX system as required for both contractor and government personnel. Oversees all visitor control access to TAGM and processes all requests for Control Access Cards (CAC). Answer questions regarding security clearance information on assigned personnel and visitors. Ensure the proper administrative accountability for all in-coming and out-going classified material and conduct security self-inspections to ensure all employees are protecting classified information properly. Provide assistance to the OPSEC officer, Program Managers, Foreign Disclosure Officer; to include coordination with the technical experts relating to proposed disclosure of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Classified Military Information (CMI). Review and staff, all requests for public release, CUI and CMI. Change the security container combinations and cipher lock combinations as required. Ensure proper in and out processing of all assigned government and contractor personnel to include visitors. Assist in providing security oversight and guidance pertaining to document marking, classification issues, storage, destruction and transmission of classified information. Coordinates and staffs all foreign visit requests. Issues and controls courier cards and orders required to hand carry classified defense information. Verifies cards are issued for the correct level of access and ensures that appropriate security briefings are conducted before issue. Maintains a roster of personnel who receive courier cards and orders. Point of contact for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) reviews. Reviewed Transportation Plans. Assist in representing security office in dealings with management to obtain resources for classified AIS hardware. Conducts OCONUS briefings for government and contractor personnel. Serve as the Security Specialist assigned to TOW Product Office. Serve as the Anti-Terrorism (AT) Officer for TAGM Project Office. Assist in facilitating sessions within PEO Missiles and Space for Active Shooter training in the concepts of Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate (ALICE) techniques. I am a certified instructor in the techniques of ALICE which provide skills that are critical in providing preparation and planning for individuals and organizations on how to more proactively handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or active shooter event. Perform daily Protected Distribution System (PDS) checks. Execute paperwork for TEMPEST Countermeasure Review for contractor facilities. Served as Security Manager during the merge of CCWS and JAMS Project Office from 13 January – 17 February 2020. Performed these duties two pay grades above my current pay grade.
