In my classroom, the following are currently being, or have been, successfully accomplished:

Classroom Environment:

• Devised and implemented classroom management protocols to maintain a productive and positive learning environment.
• Kept classroom environment successfully engaged on productivity by establishing and enforcing clear "focus" and "work" goals daily.
• Created a positive classroom environment that promoted respect, inclusivity, and personal responsibility among students.
• Modeled core values of school on daily basis in interactions with students, families, administrators and fellow teachers.

Pedagogy:

• Prepared and implemented lesson plans covering required course topics.
• Assessed and given constructive feedback on submitted class assignments for continue growth and development.
• Created a unique and equitable unit of measure in order to determine "grades".
• Reviewed work with struggling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of how to better/realistically achieve academic goals and learning targets.
• Provided meaningful and practical math instruction to improve students' math skills.
• Incorporated differentiated instruction strategies into lesson planning to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Thus allow me to implement diversified teaching techniques and utilize learning tools to help students with differing ability levels and varied learning modalities.

Technology Use:

• Weekly use of instructional technologies to visually enhance the teaching and learning process including, but not limited to, student computers/chromebooks and classroom teaching/projection devices (i.e. projectors, Eno boards, and TVs)

Communication:

• Developed strong parent-teacher relationships by means of consistent communication regarding student progress and behavioral issues via phone calls, e-mails, text messages, class dojo, powerschool, and google classroom, resulting in better support for student needs.

Curriculum:

• Developed detailed knowledge of the district's mathematics scopes and sequences for all related levels to better serve students.

Other:

• In my current school, I've developed a behavior improvement program entitled "BEST" (Behavior and Excellence Support Team) to assist 8th grade students in their development of social skills and academic qualities that will positively contribute to their transition into high school.
• As the result of a teacher survey I created and administered to the 27 members of our staff having direct dealings with the 8th grade population, specific Individualized Behavior Plans (IBPs) were created for each program candidate requiring specific actions that demonstrate a commitment to their improvement.
• As an extension of our school motto of "RISE" signifying: Responsibility, Integrity, Safety, and Engagement, each successful action results in their earning RTTO(RISE to the occasion) tickets, of which they need to earn a particular amount to exit the program after writing a reflection piece ensuring that the adjustments made during the program will continue after they've exited.
• This program has now been adopted by our 7th grade team this year.

Primary Intent: Class already failed

Assist struggling high school students who have already failed Algebra 2 to understand core concepts needed to progress to their next level of academic prowess.

Secondary Intent: Class not yet taken

Assist high school students who have yet to take Algebra 2 to prepare for or achieve a sufficient understanding needed to pass the course and progress to their next level of academic prowess.

• Responded to student needs and questions promptly.
• Promoted a positive learning environment by effectively managing classroom behavior and addressing individual needs.
• Supported teacher in monitoring students during lunch periods, recess, and other non-instructional times to maintain safety and orderliness.
• Distributed learning materials such as worksheets, textbooks, and supplemental activities.
• Aided students with special needs by adapting instructional materials and providing personalized guidance throughout lessons.

• Supported LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
• Gained valuable experience working within a specific industry, applying learned concepts directly into relevant work situations.
• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Excel and Access.

• Supported Transmissions cost and scheduling staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
• Gained valuable experience working within a specific industry, applying learned concepts directly into relevant work situations.
• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Excel and Access.
