I was working with an autistic child throughout the day. Teaching and maintaining the importance of safety and working on the achievements in the milestones and goals that may have been set for the child in care.

I spent six days a week providing one on one care to a client with schizophrenia and dementia. The main duties i fulfilled included helping the client follow a daily set routine. Which included but not limited to cooking, cleaning, bathing, changing, and providing cueing to the client about task that needed to be completed. I also helped ensure my client was taking all prescribed medication on time to the comfort and understanding throughout the clients day. I provided transportation to and from the local REC center to promote independence within socialization as well as participating in exercise classes while attending the REC center.
