Being a military wife for 20 years and a stay-at-home mom has been both rewarding and challenging. One of the biggest struggles has been moving every three years—just as we settle in and find a routine, it’s time to start over in a new place. Each move brings a new set of schools, doctors, and communities to navigate, and it’s my job to keep everything running smoothly. Coordinating the family’s schedule, managing the household, and helping our family adjust while my husband is often away has become second nature. Allowing for time when our service member has off to go on adventures instead of managing household responsibilities. It’s a life of constant change, but also one of strength, flexibility, and deep commitment to family.
