Passionate, mission-driven leader with 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, dedicated to supporting families through the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum care, trauma, and systemic adversity. My work focuses on building resilient communities by connecting individuals and families to critical resources, healthcare, and support, with a focus on prenatal and inter-conceptional periods. I currently hold the Infant Family Specialist (IMH-E) endorsement through the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health (OK-AIMH), where I proudly served on the Board for five years, including as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officer. In this role, I championed inclusive practices and policies that elevate marginalized voices, and ensure equitable access to early childhood and mental health services. In addition, I am a Certified Lactation Consultant through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP). I provide informative, culturally sensitive sessions on the Art of Breastfeeding with the Tulsa Health Department for the Healthy Start program, empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence to nourish and bond with their babies. My passion lies in driving positive change through trauma-informed care, community-based health initiatives, serving the Native communities, helping with systems change, and organizational strategies. I believe in the power of collaboration, compassion, and culturally responsive leadership to transform systems and improve lives. As a credentialed advocate for mental health equity, I'm passionate about supporting diverse communities through sustainable, accessible care. My work centers on early prevention, family support, and dismantling barriers to mental health services, ensuring that care is not just available, but truly equitable. Let's connect if you're passionate about maternal and infant health, mental wellness, equity, or nonprofit leadership. I'm always open to sharing ideas, building partnerships, and creating impact together.
