Major Steward is a superior officer in every respect. Possesses a "can-do" spirit that
can be seen in everything she undertakes. Problem solving skills are her strongest
quality. Her judgment and dedication have earned her the trust and confidence of
juniors and seniors alike. Has delivered results in all areas of responsibility; her
contributions in maintenance, supply, and facilities have enhanced CBIRF's overall
mission readiness. A mature, responsible, and inspirational leader. Command of a
battalion is a must for an officer of this caliber-promote and select for command.

I have never seen an officer impact a command's mission readiness to the degree to which
Major Steward has. She addressed multiple logistical needs to support CBIRF's no-fail
mission, breaking ground in countless new areas. Selfless commitment to the welfare of
personnel yielded vast improvements in quality of life and morale at a remote, isolated
location. As one of only 4 field grade officers in a unique unit, she showed agility and
adaptability by shouldering countless additional duties. Command presence, work ethic,
and charisma mark her as a future CO; select for command and TLS.

Major Steward is a committed professional who consistently executes her duties with
grace and perseverance. She is a joy to work with and displays genuine emotional
intelligence and intuitive interpersonal skills. SNO exhibits a gift for coordinating
staff actions; her dogged determination was evident as she brought numerous complex
projects to completion. She shepherded the effort to prepare CBIRF for a FSMAO analysis
which resulted in a near perfect score across the command - the highest the analysis
team had ever witnessed. SNO's deft coordination of logistics support for numerous
National Special Security Events enabled CBIRF's successful participation in the
execution of these high-visibility, no-fail missions, including the 2013, 2014, and 2015
Presidential State of the Union Addresses, the 2014 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, the 2015
visit to the U.S. by Pope Francis, and the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit. Sec
