I wanted to emphasize that a large amount of my career as a mortgage loan officer I reported to several different banks at a time. It was crucial that they met their lending goals, and I spent a lot of time with the bankers coaching them on questions to ask and ways to get more information and possible business from their daily clients. The accountability required for my own quota as well as the bank branches, is an extra layer that I feel is important to point out when it comes to my experience.
Here is a brief summery of what I did at the banks:
Reported to several different banks & bankers weekly to make sure we were on track to meet their quotas.
Traveled to several locations each week to stay personally in touch with each banker and manager to make sure I was meeting the production standards required.
Worked with the Commercial Lending Dept. to broaden their abilities to offer more to their clients as well as potential clients.
Maintained strict confidentiality of bank records and client information.
Achieved high levels of client retention by providing exceptional service throughout the loan origination process.
Worked with the Financial Advisors to broaden their abilities to offer more to their clients.
Established a reputation as an expert in various loan programs, becoming a trusted resource for colleagues and clients alike.
All the other job descriptions mentioned in the previous job titles were still required, as well as the relationships I had to maintain with the branch managers, bankers and other bank officials.
