• While working with the City of Muskogee I was responsible for overseeing the activities of the Department
• I conducted research on topics related to housing, currents trends, and citizen issues
• Another part of my job was to education citizens and property owners on city policies, historic preservation, and project processes

• A large part of my position was managing development projects, which included reviewing plats, site plans and landscape plans among other documents submitted for project approval
• Another focus in the position was customer service, I spoke with Forest Hill Citizens, property owners and developers daily and put forward a knowledgeable, attentive, and very pleasant face for The City

• Prepared cases for Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council meetings.
• Led a weekly development review committee meeting for property owners to discuss possible projects and receive feedback.
• Reviewed development documents, such as plats.
• Created maps in GIS for zoning and other cases before the Planning and Zoning Committee.
• Assisted consulting firm on the comprehensive plan revision project.
