Since graduating from the University of Florida in 2005, I have dedicated my time to raising and home-schooling my children. From 2008-2012 I owned and operated a youth dance studio that provided extra-curricular activities and community involvement in a rural, low-income community. I have personal experience in social work not only from my internship with the dependency system but also through the adoption of my foster children. This experience has provided me with the skills necessary to communicate with, connect with, and help people from hard places. Working part-time for Rivertown Community Church over the past several years has given me the irreplaceable opportunity to develop skills in recruitment, team building, and leadership. Now that my children are older, I am looking forward to a new season of utilizing my skills and giftings in the workforce.
