- Review and process approved and declined SCRA coverage
- Prepare, research and process requests from borrowers applying for the interest rate adjustment under SCRA
- Validate receipt of borrower's military documents and active duty information
- Evaluate SCRA requests against federal guidelines (DMDC) to determine acceptability of active duty incoming military orders and eligibility
- Log necessary information into the system and specialized spreadsheet
- Conduct mandatory quarterly and monthly analysis
- Regularly monitor and review SCRA account activity and follow up with borrowers when orders near expiration date to determine continued eligibility
- Respond, investigate, research, resolve internal audit findings
- Process extensions and release letters
- Advise borrowers of SCRA requirements, applicable mortgage rules and regulations
- Serve as subject matter expert regarding mortgage policies regarding SCRA protection
- Perform general office duties, including keyboard, filing, operation of copy fascimile machines and answering phones.
