  • I assist with administering livestock grazing on BLM lands at the Tres Rios Field Office and Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. This position requires me to be a self starter, managing schedules, working closely with coworkers and the public, and keeping immaculate and well organized records for 78 grazing allotments and over 100 permit holders . My responsibilities include leading rangeland projects, preparing and transferring grazing leases and permits, conducting range assessments to monitor land health and vegetation conditions, Collaborated with stakeholders to develop sustainable gazing management plans, and ensuring compliance with those grazing management plans. I handle billing based on animal unit months (AUM), fleet inspections, herbicide ordering and inventory, and data monitoring related to livestock utilization. I also participate in Wild Horse and Burro program support, apply PZP, and coordinate adoption events. Additionally, I create maps using GIS and assist with Land Health Assessments. Training and skills include UTV operation, trailer towing, and maintaining both electronic and physical record systems. In this position I am able to continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in training programs and workshops, staying current on industry best practices.

  • I managed the community cat program for a nonprofit dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services in Albuquerque, NM.
