In April 2015, AVTranz merged with eScribers and work continued going forward under the eScribers business name.
I worked for several legal transcription companies during this time in various locations across the US who needed help catching up when they became backlogged, transcribers were out sick, large jobs came in that needed special attention, or other issues came up.
During this period, I opened and operated a United States Postal Service Contract Postal Unit for my community who needed an outlet on the side of town where I lived. I hired some clerks to help with the CPU while I performed my other duties of running the business and still working part-time as a court reporter and transcriber.
I was the Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant to Patrick Salt who was a Senior Partner with the firm. In addition to the standard everyday work done as described below, I was in charge of organizing our Annual Cinco de Mayo Parties, Summer Picnics, and Christmas Events. I received multiple compliments from the staff and partners that I planned the best parties they had ever had before I started working there.
This law firm specialized in representing Native American legal affairs, and I worked primarily for the partner Daniel M. Rosenfelt. In February 1989, Mr. Rosenfelt merged his practice with other attorneys to form Rosenfelt, Barlow & Borg, PA. After the merger, I continued working for Mr. Rosenfelt but I took on an associate attorney as well. The duties listed below are comprised of both before and after the merger even though some duties stopped after the merger.
I worked for two of the firm partners, James Bozarth and Ellis Vickers. This firm worked in various areas of the legal field to include civil litigation, bankruptcy, securities, partnerships, corporations, real estate, oil and gas title opinions, leases, trusts, probates, wills, and other estate planning documents.
I worked for Edward W. Fordyce, Jr., Vice President and General Counsel, and Larry Worden, Division Counsel, both inside counsel for the Company. NGC was a Fortune 500 Company who was specialized in acquisitions as well as representing the Company in numerous
diverse types of litigation.
